This will switch the outcome expectation in some sales.
You cannot predict what is going to happen to console. At least that is you cannot do it with 100% efficacy. And in business each percentage means alot. Just because you have a 60% to 40% to win that is still considerd a risky throw.
Also because console sales goes up, doesnt mean it cannot fall right back down. Depending on all the company decisions and advances they make determines what will happen. We dont know for sure what each company may do. Also dont forget other problems ...

I get tired of COD4 then I go to Halo 3. COD4 repeative after awhile, Im sure that other people get tired of it sometimes too.
But I realy cant wait for BattleField: Bad Company! The game looks simply awesome. I know for a fact I wont be playing COD4 at all when it comes out.
I agree with you Virus. The Ps3 will be worth buying this year unlike the past. But I think 360 and ps3 will be on a par with each other. There is going to be good games on both platforms now, and the online for ps3 is actually going to get better with the HOME.
This will be the year for Ps3, because the total of Ps3s sold compared to 360S AND WIIs is low. Now more people will begin to buy the Ps3 being they are getting some new goodies. Now for catching up with total sells..... I...
I guess the PS3 fans finnally get to have some fun playing there Ps3 this year. While I been having fun on my Xbox 360 for the past 2 years. Then again they didnt have to worry about the 3 red lights either hehe. But Im hyped on getting the Ps3 for the HOME and Blu-ray.
Also I was wondering, how is the Xbox 360 going to make more sells than the Ps3 a month? When everyone who pretty much went next generation already owns an Xbox 360. Lol you ever think about it that way?

Silent Hill always managed to creep me out. When I was younger I used to have to have someone else to play the game with me though lol. Or else I would be too scared to walk to far in the game before I hit the pause button haha.
Yes MS has had a big tumble with the failure rates on the Xbox 360. But the sells of the console are great. Also the failure rates have went down by alot from before. The Xbox 360 is far from a failure if you look past the red rings. The online quality is excellent, and yes there been problems with the servers at times. But there will always be errors.
The problems will always come about, and as long as they are solved we all will stay in the green. As for Vista I feel more protect...
I been looking forward to getting my own PS3 when Home is released. But I think Im going to wait it out, and see if they come out with new models of the PS3.
But honestly they need to work on something, so that the people who already got a PS3 can get a good deal by switching to a new model. I always buy a console and they make cooler models and I feel left out. But some people dont care what there console looks like as long as it performs as well.
I messed up saying Duke Nukem 64 was the best. The reason I said that though was because I never played Duke Nukem 3D. But Duke Nukem 64 resembles Duke Nukem 3D alot. Duke Nukem 3D looked better in graphics though.
I dont have to ever charge it realy. Also when Im dont playing my Xbox I just plug it in to charge, and turn the Xbox off while it continues to charge up.
I used to play with a wired controller all the time. But now that I bought a wireless controller, any wired controller bugs me. I like the feeling of being to move the controller around without the wires hitting me.
The best of them all to me was the Duke Nukem 64. Because the multiplayer had so many awesome level you could mess around on. I remember me and my friends would set the Duke bots on super hard and run and hide trying to stay alive as long as we could. Also the trip wires came in handy when finding a place to hide.
Not only that we had fun with the enviroments like a Gun shop, Duke Burgers, Game room, Underground sewerage area that lead to bathrooms, Adult entertainment area, and ...

As for the HD DVD or Blu ray. I dont know what format I like better or if there is realy a big difference between the two. All I know is they both support 1080p thats all I realy care about. Also they both have better interactions than the current DVD. Thats my consumer thoughts though.

I owned a Dreamcast and it was fun, until it started to become hard for me to find games that I liked for it. I played all the Sonic games, Powerstones, Blue Stinger, NFL 2k1, also some more but not many more that I can remember.
But I loved the console! It had all the goods, it was just finding the games for it I dont know why. The memory card for it was awesome also.
